Using hot styling tools
Using hot styling tools appliances such as hair dryers, straightening irons and curling tools temporarily reshape your hair but the high temperatures and erosion involved in the mechanical act may sometimes damage your hair. When heated, excess of moisture or fluids caught within your hair turns into steam that bursts out of your hair leaving it porous. To avoid porosity and erosion, hot tools should be used on clean, dry hair.
It is widely recommended to read the manufacturer’s directions when using heat styling appliances and adjust the temperature according to your hair’s condition. To prevent hair trauma, process the hair to its length in constant movement and avoid lingering over any single area. Your hair should be combed and organized in a single direction to minimize cuticle erosion.
Following the use of heat styling appliances, apply Gloss Serum along your hair strands to maintain your hair style and protection.
